I’m rather proud of how hard I’ve worked in the past week, and how much I’ve managed to achieve! I’m really trying to apply myself fully to my art work now, and at the moment I’m really enjoying it as it’s lots of drawing. Later maybe not so much, I’m having to create something using wire for this project based on the drawings I’ve done.

I ended up staying behind in the studio with a few others from my group until 5:30pm today! Leaving the computer to focus on my work didn’t turn out how I planned… I ended up going out for a meal with my mum and sister, which was fabulous by the way! Yesterday I also called the bank to try and dispute their decision about the money that was stolen, but as I had predicted it didn’t really get anywhere. Oh dear, I only have 6GB left of my hard drive… I may have to invest in an external hard drive I think!

On a brighter note, I passed my first project and got a really good grade for the start of the course! They grade the projects in numbers now, its too complicated to explain but I got an 8 which is apparently very good for the start of the year. I was aiming for it so I’m very happy I achieved it!

I finally heard from the bank today about the £300 that was taken from my account… they won’t be refunding it. According to the letter I recieved, it’s my fault the card went missing and I must have kept my PIN number with the card, so apparently I’m liable for the money going missing. First day of the Flat-pack Dinosaur project is underway… and what a day it was. We found out we are making a Stegosaurus! With so many of us, it’s easy to imagine how hard it is for us all to coordinate without a bit of trouble. Feeling really ill at the moment. “Blaaargh” would be the perfect description! I handed in my skecthbook today, as we’ve now finished the wall project. I managed to fill the sketchbook and had to tie extra pages in! I’m proud that I didn’t let myself fall behind either, I kept on top of it all and I intend to do so for the rest of the year.

I had to miss university today to go to the bank and sort out some pesky identity fraud forms. I’m not complaining too much, as it’ll mean I’ll get the money back (hopefully!) if not, I have no idea what I’ll do… fingers crossed!
