I’ve heard from my client for the logo design today… apparently they have started printing the t-shirts! I can’t wait to see them, she says they look great. Also she will be giving me one, and a copy of everything the logo’s used on (for my coursework), so that makes it even better =D

I got back from my interview a few hours ago… I’m not really sure how I feel it went at the moment. It wasn’t a complete disaster, but I think it could have been a lot better. It also didn’t help that I had to sit in a cold room for 4 and a half hours waiting for my interview, which only lasted 10 minutes!

So, today I turned 18! Although I had to spend most of the day in college writing english essays and preparing my portfolio for an interview on monday, it has been a great day =) I am planning to go out for a meal tomorrow with my friends where I can buy my first alcoholic drink! I’ve never felt it was that big of a deal for me, but I do have to say it feels odd.

I decided to face my “fear” today and have started an acrylic painting of a still life I’ve set up. Last year I vowed not to use acrylics again after painting with them in my art exam as I felt the results were rather awful, but now I think it was the subject matter - not the medium. I think I may have hurt my shoulder while drawing a still life set-up in class… not a good time when I’m creating more portfolio work! I may have set the easle and drawing board too high, as I did have to stretch my arm quite a lot to finish the drawing.
Ah well, I’m sure it will be better tomorrow after I rest it tonight. =)
