This piece was intended to be my own interpretation and study of one of Egon Schiele’s works, The Scornful Woman, 1910. Looking through a book of his works this one caught my eye. There is a lot I could do to improve it, but the aim was to create a quick study and I don’t think it’s too bad considering I’ve never painted the human figure or skin before. I used acrylic paints on paper.
